Scenic Shores Neighborhood Association of Lake Worth 2025

The following protocol was developed during a special meeting with local law enforcement at the lake marshal's office. How should someone report unsafe or illegal activity observed in our area, by persons who are simply up to no good, or may be homeless and "camping" nearby? When to report by  My FW App :  tents for overnight use, send pictures and location illegal dumping of trash, send pictures and location When app is used, duplicate reports for the same incident may be closed in order to cull the log.  Things reported here are considered non-emergency but still need to be addressed. When to call 911: open flames observed for warmth or cooking aggressive behavior When 911 has been called,  the caller may follow up with the department to ask what was the result of the call.   I've tried these things and have seen no proper response or improvement. Discussed adding signage to existing different lands to ward off trespassing. Discussed future island clean-up efforts. Summary The purpose of this meeting at the Lake Patrol office was to ask for directions and advice about when and how to properly report concerning, unsafe and illegal activity in the Casino Beach and bridge construction area.   Deanne shared the suggested developments for Casino Beach, and acknowledged that some of this will reduce homeless/loitering activity in the future. Discussions were had about whether SSNA should be expanded to include a portion of City of Fort Worth residents who do not have lake properties, yet reside close to our boundaries. Survey of top desired Casino Beach items from a list of choices to be sent to SSNA and all other lake NAs.
