Please note: There still exists a private Facebook group run by the former president, perhaps using the name "Scenic Shores Neighborhood Conversation".  This is not associated with our current board in any way.

Our Purpose

The purpose of the Scenic Shores Neighborhood Association is to provide an organized framework to promote, preserve, and enhance the quality of life and values in the Scenic Shores Neighborhood Association neighborhood by:
Encouraging a sense of community and pride among Association members.
Establishing a communication link with City Council, City Manager's offices, Code Enforcement, Neighborhood Police Officers, other city departments, and any other person or entity that affects the Association neighborhood or its members.
Empowering Association members to address collective and/or unique issues concerning their properties by providing help, support, and advice of the Association and its membership. As a voluntary neighborhood association, the Scenic Shores Neighborhood Association has no power to place any requirements on residents living in the Scenic Shores area - financial or otherwise.

President Deanne Kearney

My name is Deanne Kearney and I have lived on Lake Worth for 38 years.  During my time as the Scenic Shores Neighborhood Association Vice President I was involved in many aspects of working with the city to resolve issues in the neighborhood and preserve our recreational areas around the lake.  Some key examples of past initiatives that I have led or supported are: The Civic Club initiative to purchase the lease land, and the Lake Worth Monster Dash where I co-organized, a 5K run event to bring awareness to the recreational value of our park land and beaches.  We had a record-breaking first-time participation, and all profits were donated to the Lake Worth Alliance to support the preservation of our park land.

Vice President Brian Keller

My name is Brian Keller and I have lived on Love Circle since 2006. I managed and installed 180 trees in Love Circle park and remain the point of contact for the tree maintenance there. I have been engaged with TXDOT consistently since the identification of a major safety issue and establishment of barriers down the middle of the old 199 bridge. I pushed very hard to save a few large trees in the new bridge boundary of Love Circle that still stand today. I hope to continue to engage with TXDOT as the 820 interchange project begins in a few years too.

Treasurer Tom Mast

I have been operating a boat on this lake for over 35 years as an avid water skier.  My wife and I have owned property on the lake for over 24 years and 3 years ago we moved here permanently.

Secretary Adrienne Taylor

My husband, kids and I are newer residents in Scenic Shores.  We moved here to our forever home two years ago, and recently my parents moved here as well becoming our next door neighbors.
